My old Samsung Galaxy S5 bit the dust yesterday (bootloader starts, but won't load OS -- NOT a "rooted" phone, never messed with the firmware). I visited 3 Verizon retailers (one, a corporate store; the other two, authorized resellers).
So far, in over 6 hours on the phone, none of us has been able to resolve a spurious "you have a pending order on your account" message. Several months back, I'd ordered a replacement SIM card to troubleshoot a connectivity problem with my phone. That replacement SIM card is causing the "pending order" error.
At this point, I'm unable to replace my dead phone and nobody has been able to remove the "pending" order. When I view my orders, I don't even have the option to cancel this. Is there a specialized support group that can help, or should I look into switching to another provider....?
Thanks!
We certainly want you to have a working phone at all times. I am sorry to learn you are getting the bootloader error. There is a dedicated team that can look into clearing the pending order. This is done by filing a ticket. When you visited the direct store location did they sate the ticket was created?

The first store opened a ticket, but said it could take 4 - 5 days for the issue to be resolved -- and being without a usable phone for that long isn't something I'd be able to do.
Unknown_Error, thank you for the details you provided. We know how crucial it is for the issue to be resolved. We will be delighted to help you. I sent you a Private Note. Please reply to the Private Note at your earliest convenience.
