Suddenly "Select a verification option" is required to log into my account

Suddenly, when logging in to my Wife's account, using Firefox and Edge, via the Net (not the fon!) the login process now asks for "Select a verification option" every time and the only verification option is to send a message to her fon, that has a link in it to allow a one time access to the account.

Nothing has been changed, Two Step Authentication is OFF and I am the one that handles her account, monthly payment, ordering a new fon, etc, so I am allowed. Name and password has not changed (and continues to work, too), just encountering this extra step and have to get her (fon) involved.

How did this get turned on and how do we turn it off and/or get Verizon to recognize my computer as authorized?

With regard to your concerns we want to make sure you are all set with your services. To clarify, have you tried clearing your browser cookies and cache?
