Super Upset and P$^>$:>/ed!

So I was at my new apartment moving some things in when a Verizon employee knocked on the door. He was going door to door signing people up for 5G Home Internet. Price was great, signed up immediately. Told to expect equipment by 5/23.

5/23 comes and no information or tracking number for the equipment. Turns out, there is actually no service available for my area yet! After several hours using the chat feature, including 1 HOUR where the agent disconnected and I sat and kept writing to learn what was going on, all anyone can tell me is to sign up for home internet service notifications.

Verizon - WHY WOULD YOU HAVE AN EMPLOYEE SIGN ME UP AND PROMISE EQUIPMENT FOR AN UNAVAILABLE SERVICE????

Makes me think I should switch phone companies, I'm totally upset by the whole experience.

Lpeters0n, sorry to read that you do not have 5G Home Internet Service in your area. That is odd that our employee was in your area when it is not available. On behalf of Verizon Wireless, I apologize for this entire situation. Please contact our 5G Home Internet Team that is available by phone only at 844-769-1988. They will be able to help make sure the service is canceled out for you & provide you information on how to send the equipment back. -Alicia
