I haven't gone over my data before so I wasn't aware that you would automatically get charged the $15 without getting a chance to just turn off data (which is annoying in itself). I went to turn on saftey mode so that I would have it for future months without it having any indication of it preventing me from using the overage 1 gig that I was charged for. I tried to turn it back off and it jsut tells me that it will stay on for the rest of the billing cycle. It's only 2 days left, but if I'm PAYING for that 1 gig, why can't I use it? Only .01 has been used, meaning I'm going to be paying $15 FOR NO REASON. Is there anyway around this?
We know the importance of understanding your options for managing Safety Mode. You would have the option of managing Safety Mode (via the My Verizon application or online by signing in to your My Verizon account - www.vzw.com/signin) to toggle the feature on and off at any time. The only plan that prevents this option is our Just Kids plan. Here's a link with the details: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/safety-mode-faqs/. I hope this information is helpful.
