Based on posts elsewhere in the community I am guessing that this URL "https://www.verizon.com/sales/digital/cart/credithold.html" on my screen means my order is being held up on suspicion of fraud. No other indication that tells me that. If that is the case, wouldn't make sense to say so in plain English? After nearly 20 years as a Verizon Wireless customer with four lines you would think maybe a little proactive communications would be in order. And, no, it is not fraud.
This comes after spending hours trying to buy two phones. Other mysterious messages on my account, a lot of detective work on my part to fix it, a chat session that disconnects right when I think I have the purchase in hand, two other failed attempts to buy the phones and now this. Should be simple. Instead, it appears I am now being charged for one line for which I have no phone. Great business model.
And, with a holiday tomorrow, it is likely I won't hear back on this for days.
No wonder I am shopping other providers.

I’ve been having the exact issue from both the website and the mobile app. It has occurred on 2 different accounts I’ve tried (mine and my in-laws I was helping upgrade). Horrible experience with NO DETAILS other than the word “credithold”.

I'm having the same issue. I've spent all day off and on trying to determine which of the 800 promotions will work best for my family situation. I'm trying to buy 3 new phones and 2 apple watches. I was finally comfortable that I had exhausted all the combinations of the promotions only to find out I can't pay. Let me repeat that...I can't pay. Now I'm concerned that the promotions will be gone tomorrow because the phone banks are closed and the live chat isn't live apparently. If I'm not able to get this corrected I will be switching carriers. Oh and the digital assistant is an absolute waste of time.
