I shipped my IPhone 6s for trade in via UPS on June 16. UPS confirms the phone was received on June 20th. Verizon, however, has the status as “shipped” instead of “received.” As a result, Verizon is withholding my $400.00 trade in credit even though Verizon has my phone. There have been multiple calls to customer service with the advice that we just wait with no resolution in sight. At this point, it’s impossible for me to see Verizon’s delay tactics as anything other than theft. If this is not resolved immediately, I will file a complaint with my state’s division of consumer protections.
