On 10/20/21 I ordered 2x Pixel 6 Pros from the Verizon site and not even a full hour later received a promo code from Verizon via text message, "UPGRADE", which was good for $350 off each device (total of $700).
It did not stipulate you had to pay for the devices in a specific way or anything, but it arrived after I made the order.
I need to get the $700 refunded to my card. I've tried calling and the representatives insist this was only available for people who opted to pay over 24 or 36 months for the phone, but the terms I am looking at for it do not mention anything like that.
Any help appreciated.

Many of us are receiving it since October 23rd until today (Friday, November 5 2021). Unsure of anything about this, I received mine on Monday this week.
The text from Verizon reads:
