Unable to pay my bill

Here it is 2022 and from the previous post I've read dating back as far back as 2017 and earlier, making a payment through the Vzn app, Vzn online, or automated system has been ongoing. I have a scheduled payment arrangement for today, August 26, 2022 and have been unable, for hours, to make a payment using all three options as stated above. I've never had this issue with my previous carrier. I only switched because I thought the network would be better as well as the customer service. I can say that Vzn's customer service is far better than my previous carrier, but network isn't really what it used to be. With that being said, maybe this would explain all the glitches and system issues or perhaps it could all be done on purpose; not meeting timeframe to pay your bill, disconnect phone service, throw on extra charges and having to pay full total before getting service turned back on. This is a joke, seriously. If my services are interrupted due to not being able to make my payment using either of THEIR systems, I will be switching back to my previous carrier. This is ridiculous!!!
