I saw a discussion on this thread about incorrect emails getting alerts for accounts. I see that discussion is now locked so going to ask a related question.
I have been trying to remove an email address that we have closed YEARS ago. It appears on My Verizon on the Manage your communications and alert page. I continually go to the delete button and get a success! email address removed, however it continues to be on my communications list and IF by chance the addresses are ever recycled, who knows where the messages will go. Any ideas on how to fix this? Like I said the delete appears to not function.
See photo..... Success notification banner, but second email (blacked out on left side) that I deleted is definitely still there. NOT Successful.
I would suggest calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone and ask them to remove the email address from your account.
I am suggesting this because I had an old email address still attached to my account even though when I signed into MyVerizon account online, I couldn't find that email address any where on my account. The rogue address was apparently in an area only the reps to get to on their end.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
