I SIGNED UP FOR A PLAN TO BUY 1 PHONE AND GET 1 FREE-THE IPHONE WAS ON BACKORDER-BY THE TIME THEY SENT IT TO ME THEY SOULD NOT HONOR AND ARE NOW CHARGING ME FOR THE FREE PHONE-I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AS WELL AS THE FCC. VERIZON TELLS ME EVERY MONTH THAT THE ADJUST MENT WILL BE MADE AND ALL THEY HAVE DONE WAS SHUT MY PHONE OFF AND CONTINUOUSLY CHARGING ME $40.00 IN RECONEECT FEES-I AM FURIOUS
if you had "FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE" then on this point i think you should wait for AG office to let you know outcome and decide. Not sure if you had read terms and condition on promotion and verified if you were qualified .
It's understandable to be furious when you're not getting a promotion you were expecting, dswyatt01. Getting reconnect fees when you're disputing the amount due is upsetting as well. Let's get to the bottom of what happened, and find a resolution. Please be on the lookout for a Private Message.

Pay your bill and you won't get reconnect fees. Unless that "get" line was a port or new line of service, you don't qualify. If it was, your promotion kicks in around 2-3 cycles so long as that purchase was A) during a promotion and B) with qualified equipment.
