So the blocks page isn't available for prepaid customers & I think this is ridiculous. Prepaid customers pay their bills just like postpaid customers yet we don't have the same blocking abilities that postpaid customers have yet we have the same issues. I get spam texts from emails multiple times a day but I don't have the option to block these texts from emails in no way, form or fashion & if you ask me that is terrible customer service. How can you have one feature available to some customers but not all when we are all paying for services & having the same issues. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP!!!!
Postpaid customers have more included free features (i.e. blocking options) for a higher service cost than prepaid plans. If this is a feature you need, perhaps you should consider switching to a postpaid account or another carrier that has the features you want for the cost you are willing to pay.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
I completely understand your concern regarding the blocking options for Prepaid accounts. Are you referring to Call Filter? If so, the Call Filter App on prepaid is ONLY available on Verizon Postpaid Android devices that have the app preinstalled and iOS devices that have downloaded it.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and I will definitely lift up your feedback.
No I'm not referring to the call filter app. I'm referring to the blocks page that is available to postpaid customers but not prepaid customers. They have the option to login and select to have messages blocked being sent from web or email addresses. When prepaid customers login they do not have this option so we have to deal with spam messages from email addresses with no way to block them as postpaid customers do.
If you search the forums you will see the block for messages sent from email is not working anyway. Don't understand why you think you should pay less and and get the same features of people who pay more.
