Just a listing of problems I've had every time I've tried to use their customer service chat;
- Takes 5-10 minutes to connect
- Takes 5-10 minutes to respond once connected
- Frequently ask for verification information even though I'm already logged in
- Frequently ask questions I've already answered or suggest solutions that I've already tried or have nothing to do with my issue
- Give me completely false information
- Disconnect me or stop talking me without letting me know so I am talking to the void and then I have to reconnect and repeat the loop
- Usually takes over an hour, I get no resolution and then I have to call anyways.
Chat is supposed to be a convenient option for users who can't call in or need to do multiple things, but Verizon's seems to be purposefully unusable to the point I question why they have it. I hope Verizon can take these criticisms and work to improve their chat function, because it's terrible as it currently exists.
