I have the same problem I’ve had service for 3months already I was only approved for $200 dollars spending limit what am I suppose to do with that I brought 4 lines of service from sprint and I had to buy 3 phones outright paid over 3k for those 3 phones and 1 phone I financed thru Verizon a iPhone 7 Plus which was 200 dollars and it was a certified pre owned and after I got it I’ve had so much issues with the battery and I called them and they claimed the phone was purchased thru a 3rd party which I didn’t and had gotten it thru tele sales and wouldn’t replace it so just a week ago the phone caught on fire while charging next to my daughter and burned her hand not cool and I called Verizon told them about the issue and they didn’t help for dirt and the representatives were blaming my daughter like it was her fault and she’s only 12 yrs old and in asked for a limit increased to get a new phone for my daughter and they just kept transferring me around and one rep told me if I didn’t like that I keept getting transferred he could cancel my service and that my daughter shouldn’t of using her phone a lot that’s why it happened to her what a total duche and now I’m thinking of going to AT&T or maybe T-Mobile Verizon doesn’t care of the customer they just care of the money I made a claim with the fcc and try calling Verizon to get a resolution and every time I ask for a manager they always say they are unavailable and always wanna do call backs and never get a call back that’s not right Verizon I’m very close to doing a civil lawsuit against Verizon beacuse they do nothing to help you .......not cool Verizon shame on you
Im wondering if its a recent change with Verizon i been with them for 9 years always upgrade and never had an issue i called today and was advise the limit was $10,000 until yesterday it went down to $1600 but i have $2300 already financed which makes no sense because 3 weeks ago i was able to do it. Im looking into switching to another company and taking all my 8 lines there.
These guys in the private message are stupid and can’t get anything done I’m so frustrated and upset beacuse now I’m getting fcc and my lawyer involved I’m tired of Verizon’s garbage
Your Device Financing Limit does go off your credit history. Durng your initial credit check you receive a total account finance limit and a device finance limit. Each line on your account has the same device finance limit that can be used until you reach your total account finance limit. If you account finance limit has been met, then you will have the option to purchase your phone at full retail.
