We are a small company based in Long Island who decided to get some lines from Verizon due to their cheap international plan.
We first tested the waters by getting a few lines on some old phones we were able to grab on ebay and it worked out.
During the first month we decided to get everything in place, get more lines, tweak the plans, use phones we were more comfortable with. Many changes altogether.
In order to not seem like fraud we purchased all our handsets on ebay rather than taking them from Verizon.
We prepaid our estimated bill within the fist week.
Within the first 2 weeks we had to contact Verizon daily to find out why a line was suspended and they would keep asking if we did any international calls. Meanwhile we keep asking them to note the account that they only reason we are switching to verizon is because their international calls are cheaper than our previous provider.
Once we verify everything it gets resorted immediately.
But the next day it would happen again.
It came to the point where we had to send in our TAX information, Our company registration information, Bank Statements, Drivers license.
These were all sent in and acknowledged as received.
Soon after all the lines were suspended - the entire account, when we called we were transferred to the fraud department again but this time we were told they can not give us an answer and someone will make contact soon.
We went back to the store manager who was given the same wall.
We contacted our regional sales rep who was given the same wall.
It has been about 2 weeks so far, every time we call; we are being told that someone will make contact and no one has yet, nor is there anyone we can contact who can at least tell us what is going on.
Meanwhile we are now stuck with equipment that was purchased for using on Verizon and we do not know if we should get service elsewhere or not.
Your security is very important to us, vjfromgt. The best way to handle this is to contact us. http://vz.to/1ExQF3c

Oh I thought I was the only one dealing with a bunch of [removed] . Their department is filled with Employees who do not know what the basis of telecom is. Verizon's Fraud Department is absolutely horrible. Customer service is superb. But the Fraud Department has no one who is competent enough to even be working there. The Fraud manager made me go into a "corporate" verizon store and I asked her to look one up for me, she gave me the location of a "Premium Retailer" which is NOT a corporate store. If you don't know what the difference between that is? How do you expect to fix my fraud issue. VERIZON FRAUD DEPARTMENT [removed] !!!
