Verizon Home Device Protection added without my permission!

Somehow Verizon decided to start charging me $25 per month for "Verizon Home Device Protection"."

$100 has been charged before I noticed this additional charge. 

I'm not happy! 

I don't know why Verizon would all of a sudden start charging me for something I never wanted.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Was coming here to check out the same exact thing.  It happened to us after telling an Asurian rep "that sounds interesting, will talk to the husband" about a 30 day trial.  Apparently he took that as a YES, and signed us up without asking.  I had no idea this would affect our Verizon account, and want it off.
