I have logged onto my account several times, both through the app and my PC. I tried to pay off my phone, but couldn't, as I got a message stating that I must pay my current bill first. My current bill isn't due for 15 days, so why do I need to pay my bill first? So I try to pay my bill online. Typically I send payments, because I do not like companies storing my payment info. Well, in order to pay a bill online, I have to add my payment info to my account. Why? Why can I not just enter my credit card info to pay the bill at checkout? Why does Verizon insist on storing my personal payment account info? In order for me to pay off my phone, I must allow Verizon to store my payment info, then pay my monthly bill FIRST, then I can pay off my phone. Who came up with this idea? Now, after 15 years, I just want to cancel my account. But to do that, I must CALL customer service so that they can waste my time by trying to talk me into remaining a customer, then, I'll have to pay my current bill, then pay off my phone, then who knows what else! I'm am disgusted that I have spent so much time with this corporation.
