I fell for the bait and switch "promotion". Verizon received my iphone 7 as a trade-in, but it took several phone calls (to reach a csr the wait time is always over an hour) to confirm this. I mailed my phone out at the beginning of Jan. and they just received it on 1/28/22 after several long phone calls. The promotion was to receive a billing credit of $26.67 for 30 months, however, they charged back my account, and now I am responsible for a phone I can't afford, and basically gave them my iphone7 for free. Don't fall for the new iphone promotion, they will steal your phone and still charge you for the new phone.
Carabou6407, we understand it is important to get the credit you are afforded. A chargeback will occur if the trade in device is not returned within 35 days. May we ask when you ordered your new device? *Joshua
