Recently Traded in two Verizon Phones as a long term customer via their Sales Team Phone Service, the agent promised trade-in values for each phone after we upgraded service and phones. The new phones and service was started and both older phones were sent in in very good to excellent condition. In a classic bait and switch, Verizon provided a trade-in value that approximated their agents numbers for 1 phone but has refused to honor their agents claim for the second phone, going as far as to say the trade-in value is 0.00 via their online trade-in status for the second phone. On top of that they haven't even attempted to notify us of the scam (had to search it out online) or attempt to wait for hours to be directed to a U.S. based representative. To say that I'm unhappy with Verizon Wireless at this point would be an understatement, especially after paying for two new completely top of the line phones with accessories added, a new wireless, and paying two statements, new contracts, and upfront fees already. Our Sales Rep promised that the billing situation would need a few cycles to even out, never happened, and still no credit for second phone. Oh, and they still have the second traded in phone. Disgusted!

I traded in an LG G8 and received the full $800. Shipped it June 8th. They checked it in on the 16th and the valuation was finalized July 2nd. Was nervous but it went very smooth.

To answer your question:

1) When I initially attempted to use your "Private Note/Message" App it wouldn't open.

2) Hence, I later was able to use it to respond at least 3X since.

3) Two of those messages contained the requested information from me to Verizon Reps.

4) I have not received a proper response from those Private Messages since sent.

5) It is not a leap of logic to presume that your customer service team is already aware of which account that this is referring to based on the sign in protocols etc., and information sent, and what the issue is. 

6) I do hope this helps you to understand what I mean because trust me, I'm also sorry that Verizon is not properly addressing this issue. 

7) A simple search of Google for "Verizon Trade In Scam" results in over 3,430,000 hits in 4 seconds, if only 30% of those hits are legitimate first time complaints, there is over 1 Million people out there complaining of similar issues.

😎So yes, I need help with this failure by Verizon, et al, to provide what was promised by Verizon Sales Representatives via direct Phone purchase, and provide restitution for the second phone trade in as agreed upon. I would really appreciate any significant help that anyone at Verizon would provide in getting this particular situation corrected as up until a few short months ago, I had been a decades long predominantly satisfied customer of your company and its affiliates.
