Hello, I am looking here for help because the phone reps have not been helpful and the supervisor that was supposed to call me back has not.
I ported 4 lines to Verizon at the beginning of the month. I purchased 4 new devices and was quoted to receive $400 trade in credit for two phones from my previous carrier.
Yesterday I received an email stating my trade in credit is reduced to a total of $38 total for both phones traded.
I called support to inquire and was told the promos could not be applied because of other promos I took when I opened my account.
I was quoted to receive all the promos. They were shown in my cart at checkout and are also included in my emailed order confirmation after I paid my tax and opened my Verizon account.
If these promos couldn't stack why did Verizon let me include them in my account. I have the receipt on hand showing the promos applied to my order.
If they didn't stack I would not have sent Verizon 2 perfectly good devices. I was promised $800 and instead I'm getting a $38 gift card. This is not acceptable.
Verizon needs to stand behind their offer of which I have written proof of. I feel like I've been robbed of 2 devices in great shape.
Please let me know how we should proceed before I turn all these phones back in and go back to my old carrier.
