Verizon has trade-in device but is not giving credit

I switched two lines to Verizon in September and traded both of my devices in for new iPhones. I received my new devices along with trade-in instructions and envelopes but only received one UPS shipping label. I sent both devices back in one box with the UPS shipping label provided but each device was in its separate Verizon padded envelope that was provided. I received an email from Verizon last week stating that my trade-in had been evaluated for one of my lines and confirmed. Then last night, I receive another email for the second line stating that I was not receiving the promotional credit for my second line because the trade-in device was not received. This is IMPOSSIBLE, as both phones were in the same box and confirmed to have recieved the package and given credit for one device. So, where is my second device Verizon?! If I am not receiving trade-in credit for the device then it should be returned to me but it looks like Verizon is ONCE AGAIN robbing their so-called "valued customers".

 

I have contacted Verizon via chat, which got nowhere and called the trade-in support number which only gave me an automated agent who said there is not open trade-in for the phone number I gave. So, I have now not received either of my $200 switcher rebates but have a device stolen from me and a $1000 trade-in credit removed from my account. Anyone have any advice or gotten anywhere in a similar situation? I know I'm not the first person to be robbed by Verizon.
