I would like to see at some point in the future either way a location within the application where feedback about the behavior or layout of the application may be left by the user.
I would also like to see at some point in the future where the data displayed by the application can be broken down. Currently it requires a small amount of digging in order for the user to determine just where the data is coming from and what it is doing. The operators are more than capable of answering questions regarding your data but one should not be required to call an operator to find out exactly what is happening especially when the application is more than capable of displaying this data.
I would like to see the data display in perhaps four bars. The top bar being data that is included with your plan by default. The default plan data may also include bonus data which is awarded monthly. The following 3 bars can and should be broken down by the available maximum 3 additional data packages that a user is allowed to purchase at any one time. These three bars represent the order in which the data will be consumed and the total amount remaining of each package as it is consumed. These bars may also indicate if the user has opted to purchase a pant plan of data but has not yet paid for it.
We do not need to see the amount of data remaining on a plan that we do not have but may upgrade to. This is done by math. If you have a 10GB and you have used 8GB and you want to upgrade to 12GB you will have 4GB left to use before your cycle ends. You are suggesting to add unnecessary information to an already information overloaded app.
If you want to see data utilization then you need to select the line that you want information for and scroll to the bottom and select Data Utilization. If you want an account overview then all you must do is scroll past all the individual lines and select Data Utilization to see the whole account's usage statistics. This will not tell you specifically which apps are using the data but which kinds of apps. To know specifically which apps are using data, your smartphone has a setting that will do that. Android can be easily set to reset those statistics automatically on the first day of your cycle each month while iOS needs to be done manually. You are asking for a feature that is already built into the app and has been for quite a while.
I wasn't being aggressive. Just pointing out the obvious. You posted on a peer to peer forum and ANY registered member is allowed to reply to any post. Plus I gave you some tips about how to see what apps on your device are using data. By all means, perceive my response as aggressive because I can't change how you perceive a random person on the internet's advice.
My point was not that you could not reply. Only that you could have asked
before making assumptions. I thought that a feed back would not require
pages of backstory and experience reports.
I have had issues with getting correct data. The app is not correct or
missing data the operators can see. The built in reporting tool is as
disclaimed aproximate, and will sometimes account for data that is not
verizon, or vice versa.
And the more information the app has to load the slower it goes. I was telling you that the app has all of the information that you are requesting as well as how to access it. I don't know how CS would be able to tell you specifically which apps are using data. Also, my device shows .09GB of data used and VZW is reporting .088GB. That's close enough for me. You made suggestions and I pointed out valid reasons why I wouldn't want them in my app.
I am sorry I do not see what individual application usage of data has to do
with my request.
I also do not understand how the app requesting an additional 128bits of
data would have any perceivable impact on the app.
So...you do see that I was not trying to be aggressive towards you. The app does give you what you are asking for.
What device do you have? Have you tried to uninstall and then re-install the app?
