Reinstall of app is not possible. App is for some reason tailored to their
devices. It can be updated and reinstalled, but updated are given at
This is how things are now. This is all a M2M user is able to see. Even if we are long uninterrupted users.
I am appreciative of the updated interface from the joke that was only a year ago. I am hopeful a few more tweaks can be had before we abandon further development in favor of some windows 10 app...
Here you can see the addition of a few items on the 1st 2 screen shots. These are not ideal, but representing what I would like to see. I dont like having to call an operator every time there is a glitch in the system. Have observed more than a few, some were glitches others could have been explained with these alterations to how the account is shown to the M2M user.
So...it looks like you are on a prepaid plan.
Everything is different on PP plans. I would check the Google Play Store to see if there are any updates to your app.
It is unclear what you are questioning though. My guess is that you think that you use less data the Verizon reports you use. Though it looks to be inline to me. I can see that you have a 1GB data plan plus you get 1GB of bonus data for being on Auto Pay and you paid for 3GB of Bridge Data. The way it works (incase you are unaware) is that you use up the Bonus data first, then you will use the regular data and then the Bridge data. You paid the extra $20 for the 3GB of Bridge data and that will expire after 90 days if unused and you lose that $20. I cannot tell how much, if any, of that Bridge data you have used but in order to start using that you have to use more than 2GB in a cycle.
According to the screenshots VZW reports that as of 6:20PM you used .113GB of data and your phone shows .27GB used as of 6:22PM It takes about 4 hours for VZW information to be updated. Your phone will give you the most accurate information about how much data you're using and which apps are using it. I have never seen a discrepancy with that. I am managing 6 lines on a 30GB data plan and I watch it constantly. I hate to say it but prepaid doesn't get all of the information that post paid does. You may not get the app that looks like mine.
I am sorry, you are not resolving an issue. This is feedback. There are no
points to be awarded here.
M2M Verizon My Mobile App is different from your Contract App. I am not
asking why mine isn't like yours.
I am not unclear as to how Verizon handles data. I am not unclear about the
interruptions in service when packages switch. I am asking for better
reporting of the usage of each data package. I am asking for a less
ambiguous data frame. I am asking for a data block about 128bits to added
to the request. This by the way will not effect your account load times, as
it is s different app. Further if 128bits caused any significant issue to
load times, that would be on the shoulders of the developers, and network
support team to resolve. This is hardly rocket science. I play free games
that move 100X as much data in far less time.
This is specific feed back and a request for a feature.
The information shown in the screen shots is not a specific issue. It is
reference point to what I would like to see. Please do not read between the
lines. There are no hidden messages.
