Every few months Verizon sends me text messages about some promotion. Then says "if you don't want them respond with X. I respond wtih X. Then they say "Thank you. If you wish to restrict all future marketing text messages from VZW, reply 'Q'". I always reply Q-- and then .... a few months later--I always get more SPAM from Verizon.
Anyone else have this issue? I've called and complained, but they don't do anything.
If your Credit Card company did it, you can sue them--but don't know if you can sue VZW for this or not.
How is it they can do this, and not stop SPAMMING their own customers?
