What Are Usage And Purchase Charges On My Bill?

I noticed that my bill went up by about $2 or so this month. No big deal, but I was curious as to why, so I noticed there was about a $2 charge under "usage and purchase charges." That category doesn't show up under any of my old bills. Neither my wife (the only other person on my plan) nor I know what this charge was for. While, as I said, I'm not making a big deal out of $2, I just want to know what it was for. Is there any way to figure that out?

We know how important correct billing is and we are here to help make sure that this is the case. We don't want any charges to be a mystery. Usage and purchase charges will be detailed under the line in which it was billed. When logging into your account, click the option to View Bill. Under the "Charges By Line" tab you will see expandable options that will detail exactly what the $2 charge in question is. Please let us know if you have any addtional questions once you have determined what that charge is stemming from.

Great question, you can view your usage by accessing your My Verizon, under the bill tab you can access the current and past usage.
