I'm porting 3 of the 4 lines over to tmobile from verizon but i want to keep one line on verizon for my oldest son. What type of plan is available and what do i need to do to get it up and running as a solo line? What options are available?
What plan are you on now? What phone do you have that is remaining on the account? If it's a smartphone, how much data does that line typically use in a month?
The answers to these questions will help us help you figure out your best options. As a starting point, the new Verizon plans have a $20 line access fee ($40 if the phone is still in contract), and then varying amounts of data allowances. 4GB is $50, so a single line on that plan would be $70 and taxes. The cost depends on the size of the data, whether the phone is in contract or not, or on a device payment plan - the device payment would need to be added to the final cost per month.
