The bill is for service for the current billing cycle, which started in most cases about 5 days before you get your bill, and then any unbilled usage ("overages") from the billing cycle just ended.
On page 1 of my most recent bill, the Quick Bill Summary and Total Charges Due are indicated to be for the period Sep 16 - Oct 15 with the amount due by Nov 10. That seems to indicate to me that the bill is for the previous billing cycle.
Then on page 2 of that same bill it indicates that my talk, text and data charges are for Oct-16 though Nov-15.
And the most confusing part to me, if we are pre-paying for the service, why is Verizon considered a post-pay service?
