Why Does My Data Usage Disappear At The End Of The Month?

Until the end of the month, I am able to monitor my data usage for the current month and earlier months. Once the month ends, there is a "blackout period" for approx 4 days and the just ended month's data usage is not available. After 4 days, the usage data is available. It seems bizarre and unhelpful to have the usage data disappear.

It does take 2-5 days once the billing cycle ends for the information to be available on the site, this is the time period it takes for the billing to complete and gather total usage.
