Why can't I use my rolled over data first?

So verizon recently came out with the rollover data plan, to include a catchy slogan that states, "your data is yours to keep." The only problem is that this is just a facade and could not be any further from reality. Your data carries over for one month and then drops off the next month. If this is the case then there is no way you can claim "your data is yours to keep", because it's clearly not and I end up losing data anyway. Either verizon needs to fix their advertising, and tell the customers what is happening rather than playing this bait and switch game or actually make it a real roll over plan like they claim it is. As a paying customer, we all deserve better than this. This is not right.

If it bothers you so much, don't use it. It IS yours to keep for 1 extra month, more than they used to have which was NO carryover data.

Nowhere does Verizon state that you get to keep your unused data FOREVER. If they did, you may have a case for bait and switch, but they don't. Verizon does not hide the terms of their Carryover Data feature as listed below

Unused Rollover Data automatically expires after one billing period or with any plan change (such as changing data amounts or termination). Unused overage data does not roll over. Rollover Data is used after your monthly plan allowance.

Funny thing is above is ATT rules for rollover, basically the same as Verizon.

Why don't people read the details and FAQ?   Who thinks a bold, large font intro to an ad tells every detail about what is being sold?
