I used my account to placed an order to update my device to an iPad. All the order, shipping, billing info are the same as the original registered account info, so why do I have to spend 30 minutes to call the Verizon fraud prevention team to answer more than 10 questions to verify the online order? The experience is terrible and even harder than doing a $300k mortgage personal credit check just for a $400 iPad. I would simply tell the fraud prevention team to cancel the order and I am thinking of stopping the Verizon service.
You're mad that Verizon is protecting your account? How would you feel if someone hacked your account and ordered the $400 iPad and they sent it with no questions asked?
