The verizon web site clearly states a free lg g3 with two activation, but the device links insist a $99 fee.
In Michigan this is a crime called bait and switch.
The offending company MUST HONOR their labeling, even if incorrect.
Will Verizon honor their ad or do we need to get the Attorney General involved?
This is not bait and switch. There are two parts to the offer. You must add a line or be a new customer to get this deal. It clearly states "New 2-year activation required per device." So unless you activate two new lines, you don't qualify. This offer is not an example of bait and switch. It's an example of "I didn't read the whole offer and now I am mad because I don't qualify so I am calling the FCC and BBB to try and force Verizon to give me what I want." Good luck with that.
Bait and switch:
: a selling method in which a customer is attracted by the advertisement of a low-priced product but then is encouraged to buy a more expensive one.
If you didn't read the entire offer that is your fault. You aren't being told you can't get the free phone, but there are conditions for receiving it.
