Why is it difficult to change my number

Came to the Verizon Website to change my number and got an message saying "Unfortunately, your request can't be completed because you're an account member on a CORPORATE ACCOUNT. And in order for me to have access to do so I have to request to the ACCOUNT MANAGER to upgrade to and Account Manager just to change my number

This has never happened before when changing my number in the pass. 

What is a Corporate Account?

Is This Something New?

Security is tighter than ever, and we always look for ways to improve, MelYisrael. As we make accounts more secure, customers find that their "role" has a lot to do with what can be done. As Ann154 asked, is your current number on a business account of some kind? If no, have you checked to be sure you entered your number correctly? -George
