I'm using travel pass and have an iPhone. When someone with an android back in the States texts me, will they be charged any differently since I'm in a foreign country?

It makes no different for them because they are in the US and texting a US number.

What rcschonor stated is correct. The person in the States will not be charged extra if they dial a US number that is currently outside of the country. You may be charged if you answer a call/text depending on your plan
