My card used for auto payment recently expired. When I attempt to add my new card I am told the billing zip code doesn't match. I use this card for multiple other monthly payments, Verizon is the only account I am having issues with.
I'm wasted several hours of my time trying to pay my bill. My bank has confirmed I am using well?
We understand the importance of updating your information so that auto-payments can continue to getting processed without any issues on your account. We will be glad to help. Please tell us, have you tried creating a new payment method instead or updating it? Are you currently trying to update this information through the app or the website?
Also, the following link will guide you through the process of updating payment methods. Please follow these steps to update your payment information. https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/manage-payment-methods/
I've tried updating through the app and the website. I've tried updating the old payment method and adding a new method. I'm still unable to update the expiration date on the card that is saved on my account. Due to the rewards I receive from from credit card, it is literally costing me money to use a different card. I've been able to use the card with at least ten other merchants.
I think the best thing will be to begin searching for a new service provider as I'm tired of wasting time trying to get this issue resolved.
swaldora, we certainly don't want to see you go! Are you trying to update the payment for autopay? If so have you tried to use the card as a one time payment?
I'm experiencing the exact same issue right now. Extremely frustrating.
Trying enter my credit card information and setup auto pay fails with this error message: "Please edit your card zip code. It does doesn't match with the zip code on file with your credit card."
@vzw_customer_support please help resolving this asap.
