explanation on bill - origination and destination

when you call someone, is the destination listed on the talk activity where the person physically was located when they answered the call or is it the location their account resides.

For instance, i live in Baltimore, my son calls me (also in Baltimore and on verizon) and I am on vacation in Florida.  What shows under his talk activity for the call on his bill:

And I guess also inbound calls, if i call him from Florida and he is in Baltimore how will it show on his bill?

It is based on the location of the tower your phones are connected to at the time of the call.

For example I have seen some of my outgoing call say they originated in Iowa, but I wasn't in Iowa on those days. I was however just across the state line in the neighboring state.
