I was in the local VZW store earlier today to pre-order my new iPhone 7. I was asked to confirm my address on file, which I did. At the end of the transaction, the rep mentioned the order would be shopping to my home address. I did not know I was confirming my shipping address, nor was told this until after the transaction was complete. I asked to have it changed, since I would most likely not be home when it was delivered and didn't want to risk having it stolen. He said there was no way to change it, other than to totally cancel the order and start again. I said screw it and just accepted I'd have to make arrangements to get it when it's delivered. Another rep chimed in and said told that putting a note on the door for the driver to leave it would ensure that it didn't get taken back for later delivery.
Now my question is, the rep says it's shipping direct to my address, but the VZW order status page shows in-store pickup. How do I confirm which is correct? Is the status page the correct one?
