I just noticed a $29 charge on my credit card bill, the one Verizon uses to collect their money each month, for "Verizon digital chat." The only thing I can think of that it could be is when I got frustrated being on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get an answer about a billing question, and I logged into My Verizon and chatted with someone there. Does that REALLY cost $29???
I have a charge for $105.25 on my account not sure why I have it either. If they are gonna charge people for using the chat feature they should make people aware that it cost..
Hatbox5955, seeing a charge for $275.60 can be alarming! Especially, when it shoes as a digital chat charge. We're here to help. There is no charge for general customer service support. Which type of account do you have (postpaid, or prepaid). Do you remember chatting with us on this day? If so, did you make any purchases for equipment or accessories?
starrn16, we definitely don't charge for chatting with us. We would like to look into this charge with you. We have sent you a Private Note for further assistance.
VERIZON*DIGITAL CHAT E 800-922-0204 FL. I got this shortly after I bought a Verizon iPad. It was the local and state......SALES TAX. I added the two tax amounts up and they matched the charge.....EXACTLY. Verizon Reps do not know this. They cannot find records of this. You have to look through your Verizon receipts and find the SALES TAX.
