I have rebooted the extender, reconnected the cable, etc to no affect. Any suggestions?

When moving the extender even across the room, the GPS takes a bit to reacquire the signal. Moving a very long way shouldn't take much long really, but make sure you have the GPS module connected to the extender via extension cord and as close to a clear-facing window as possible. I have seen the GPS take upwards of 2-5 hours to find the satellites.
