Device is set up on an open desktop but is very warm to the touch. Is this normal?
plachance70, thank you for reaching out to us. Let's review the details. When did this concern start? Are you having trouble connecting to the Network Extender? Does the device feel warm or too hot to touch?
-Sylvia
Concern started when first plugged in. No problem with connection or function but is significantly warmer to touch than other devices (modems, routers etc.).
It's great to know that your network extender is up and running. Just like any electronic device, there will be heat given off as the device is powered on and working. This is why it should be kept in a clean, ventilated place as it does need to stay connected and powered in order to work for you at home.
