Ok tried that and still breaking up.
You could try a new SIM card, or reset your network settings, but it might be that you'll need to use your 12 month manufactures warranty. If your husbands phone works on the extender, and sounds fine, but everyone you call says you sound like crud it could be internal.
Does your husband also have the iPhone 6?
THere seems to be a problem with them connecting to network extenders. Try turning off LTE and see it that helps.
