We have a Samsung Network Extender, Our Verizon Wireless extender - Samsung - has 2 lights that are red, the GPS light, in spite of repeatedly moving it around a little (it has worked for well over 2 years in the same position) is  blinking and the SYS light is solid red.  We have repeatedly plugged and unplugged power and internet access, the most recent time for 48 hours, to no avail.  Our wireless service is limited now and we no longer get the "beep" confirming the extender is operating.  Verizon people -- any thoughts, suggestions, diagnosis?  Thanks.

Meaning of LED Status Indicators on the Verizon Wireless Network Extender | Verizon Wireless

Something is wrong with it:

SYS (System connected): Persistent solid red or slow / fast-blinking red: Abnormal condition.

GPS (GPS signal): Persistent solid red: The internal antenna may not be able to detect a GPS signal (the external GPS antenna may be required).


Do they just come on solid red or do they attempt to follow the progression as documented in the above link?

The lights come right back on when plugging it back...2 solid red lights, sys and GPS
