Verizon Wireless Extender stopped working

I am trying to debug a Verizon Wireless Extender that stopped working within the past two weeks. I have completely disabled firewall rules on my dal modem for the extender. I am pinging the list of servers at http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-25525/ and getting this result when ping JMS server which appears to be from a Verizon gateway server:
"ping 69.78.69.206"
"36 bytes from 85.sub-66-174-98.myvzw.com (66.174.98.85): Destination Host Unreachable"
I get the same response when pinging from a client in a completely different network. Do I need to have something configured by Verizon?
