Some are lengthy, but the solos and lead-ups are worth the lead-ups .  Very little vocals.

It's important to remember that Bulgarian bagpipes have only 1 drone pipe vs the Highland's (Scottish) 3.  Yet the sound is distinctly different.

Just listened to those 3 tunes and several more. Very good stuff, I like it! Thanks for sharing.

Bagpipes? I'll pass on those.

I can listen to https://youtu.be/5kl0rAnLvJs when the mood strikes.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I admit there is a huge difference in the implementation of Bulgarian bagpipes as opposed to Scottish Highland bagpipes.  Also, the musician composing the arrangement has a lot to do with it as well.  Smallman is definitely more rock n roll than countryside-kilt.  Although the Doobie Bros are a staple to good-time classic rock, much like the Allman Bros, Cream, CCR, and....Skynyrd.

I actually met some Fusiliers from the Scottish Highlands in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Awesome experience. We traded uniform items as souvenirs. They wanted to trade their MP-5 rifles for our M-16s but they didn't understand that we couldn't because they were govt issued. They buy their own weapons I guess. They had their bagpipes and played for us too!

Look, it's my opinion that Japan has some awesome metal guitarists.  This is a very off the wall band....BABYMETAL - ギミチョコ!!- Gimme chocolate!! - Live Music Video - YouTube

This is definitely not my usual cup of tea, but it is VERY popular over there.  It has about 53 different types of music in one song.

Their videos are disturbing to today's youth.  Nonetheless, there is always the staple Norwegian rock....Viking Metal!

Oh no, he is just an internet meme of a guy that was dancing to techno and looks like a viking and it went viral. Pretty funny stuff. I will see if I can hunt down the original for you.
