I would have to say the scariest thing about my phone besides the bill is it has a mind of it's own, I'll turn it off to charge at night sometimes or during the day because the battery is about to die and when I wake up or go to turn the phone back on it'll already be on.

That is Scary !!!       On a more serious side however you may want to check your settings for correct sleep cycle settings, alarms and also some possible unknown app giving it life.

I restrict all background data and optimize it all the time, my boyfriend is techy I'll have him look at it, though I think his phone does it as well can't remember though.
