I check the smartphone shop page time to time to see if Samsung Galaxy S3 or Note came out and I find the site freezes the browser for about 20 seconds when I navigate to the page.
It's been like that for months, so I decided to debug it myself and found the web request to http://analytics.verizonwireless.com/b/ss/vzwiglobal,vzwiconsumer/ ... is timing out with 502 HTTP status code and the error message from the debugger shows following :
The socket connection to analytics.verizonwireless.com failed. <br />ErrorCode: 10061. <br />No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 18.104.22.168:80
I don't care much if the website does not show partial contents, but it annoys me a lot when it freezes the browser!
I can't even open a new tab when this site freezes my internet browser.
I can't believe the company like this size doesn't invest enough on websites for better user experience.
Please fix this.
