Went to Cooter's about 6-7 years ago when I went through Pigeon Forge and Asheville.  Got a pic with the General, watched the shows when they were new and not re-runs, had mutton chops for a long time, sideburns since I was 13, had the remote control car, b-day cake, still want an orange 69 Charger!  You have no idea what's going on in the Heart of Dixie right now, but suffice to say, the violence is not over.  Louisiana will be the most hated state in no time at all.  Montgomery is already a far cry of what it once was and is largely taken over by Northern Progressive Liberals.  AL's own governor is hated about as much as New Orleans' mayor.

Jeez, I just read that now someone is pushing to rename our military bases that are currently named after Confederate generals! (ex. Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, Fort Lee, etc) This is getting stupid and uncalled for.

Well, my heritage is all UK-related, of course those are the folks that started this country, and "my people" enslaved "my people" who, at the time didn't believe they were mostly the same except for minute cultural differences, accents, and hair color.  So now "my people" want to take away "my other people's" history.  Lame.  If they all want us to be the same, ixnay any holiday, history lesson, or symbol that has anything to do with anything related to anyone.  Let's be bland and boring.
