Feeling very frustrated

I'm lost and really don't know what to do in this situation. I did an early upgrade for a Google pixel fold I traded my iPhone 14 pro Max and I watch series 9 . I sent the iPhone and watch the day I received the new phone. Verizon sent an email saying they received and assessed the phone but never received the watch. But credited my account $500. Now the middle of June I see my bill I owe $500.63 Verizon is saying they did not receive the phone in a timely manner still no word on the watch. I've called 3x now with absolutely no help and the second time I was called a liar. And still no call back from any type of management I've been asking for. But I have emails and records of them receiving the phone and I have the tracking number for the phone and watch of day,time and delivery. I don't want to have to seek legal help with this but at this point my account is past due and I feel as if I have no other option.
