In September, I ordered the iPhone 17 Plus Pro Max with trade in on my phone. I soon noticed that the phone would not be shipped until October 24th and my return had to be submitted by October 26th to receive credit. As I wasn't sure this was possible, I cancelled both my order and my trade-in. Both were dated September 26th.
I waited a week to order again, with the same projected ship date, but prolonging the deadline to return my trade-in. On my account online, it showed the cancelled order/cancelled trade-in. It also shows my new order and new trade-in.
Soon my credit card was charged $42.40 twice, once for each order. I called Verizon and they showed both orders active. After over an hour online and a case opened and being connected to online ordering, I was promised a call back the next day and they would work on it. Of course, they never called as promised but I did receive a text stating my trade-in dated October 3rd had been cancelled. WHAT? I tried to respond to text. Online shows that my correct trade-in has been cancelled.
Today my new iPhone is set to arrive, but I fear if I return my old phone, I will not receive credit as there is not an open trade-in to apply it to.
Calling only results in a lot of 'please hold while I look that up', 'please hold while I ask my supervisor' and 'thank you for holding' with nothing resolved.

When I checked earlier, before writing this, my trade-in said cancelled. However, it now looks like it is active. Fingers crossed. Are you able to check for sure?
