Online order on hold, New Customer

New Customer, ordered  Iphone online on Sept. 27th. Paid what was due, submitted ID after email request. Thought everything was well. Paid for overnight shipping but it was late in the evening so I expected it to be a few days.  2 days later I get MY FIRST BILL from Verizon but still no phone. I try to sign on the the My Verizon app , said account was not active. Had to track order off original payment reciept, because the take.action button wont work. Order still on hold. Soooo now ive spent over 6 hours on a chat bot that couldnt help and 5 different calls. Still no solution. First person completely rude , kept huffing and puffing and  when the fraud department wouldnt answer her, she became ill and the call magically dropped, no call back, despite them asking for number incase the call diconnected. 2nd call, 30 mins on hold and a lovely gentleman said I needed to resubmit ID, and then we got disconneted...again. Again no call back but i did recieve email requesting ID.  So then I call back......45 mins on hold call drops. AND I WAS ON A LAND LINE! So again i call back. Lovely woman goes threw all the motions and gets fraud on the line. All is good and its shipped Im told.  The website should update......Nope.no update on shipping. Now its two days later two more calls, ON A LAND LINE IN A  STATE EMERGENCY COMMAND CENTER  AND THE CALL DOESNT DROP THIS ONE TIME BUT when im transferred to fraud the CSR suddenly cant here me. This is unacceptable. I began speaking to coworkers as Verizon is whom our government employer uses. THEY HAVE ALL HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. We are taking our grievance up the chain and hopefully, can convinvce the state to change from this absolute madness that is Verizon to anyone else before the state budget is finalized. Its neglectful customer service to say the least. Oh and the Fraud number i found in this forum? 3 hours, 26 mins, 19 seconds waiting for someonw to answer. My coworkers and I made penny bets.when they would answer, and all took turns waiting for someone to answer. Then again, the line amazingly was disconnect, rhe land line. Unacceptable.
