I've been trying to add another line with an iPhone 15 pro since its pre-order started. I tried to place the order online a week before it released, but the website always complains about payment failure, no matter how many different payment method I tried, including multiple Visa cards and PayPal under different names. I resorted to go to a store, and managed to print out the order confirmation after swiping a credit card in store. When I came back a few days later and checked the order status. Aha, same 'Payment not accepted' message showed up again. I chatted online with agent for over an hour, and still did not get it re-solved. The same afternoon, I was on the phone with agent for THREE HOURS on a Friday afternoon, trying to cancel order, and replace the order again, with 4 different credit cards. Even though one of the same card was saved online to pay the monthly bills without problem. No success again. Same payment problem. The transaction will first show up on our credit card account, but will either disappear or get credit back almost immediately. The agent promised to call us back to get it resolved. But we never received the phone call. I've already spent multiple HOURS on this issue, and it seems Verizon does not want our business. It is hard to imagine a company like Verizon will have this payment issue un-resolved for so long. We are now left with no choice but to go elsewhere. It is a very disappointing experience.
