So I walked into the Verizon store in West Hempstead Long Island to pick up an online order. Everything looked normal until they gave me an open iPhone with some scratches and fingerprints on the screen. I told them that I was not going to accept the phone. Then everyone flipped out saying that the phone was new and the reason that they had opened the phone was to show all customers the color of the phone. I declined to accept the phone so the manager called me right away telling me that I should go to the app and make a return and that he was only trying to help me. As I was leaving the store, He told me that if I did not take the phone at that moment, he wasn't responsible. I refused to do that and I just opened a case with Verizon. Has this happened to anybody, if so what did you guys do?
